What is OneClickdigital?

oneClickOneClickdigital offers a collection of  eBooks and eAudio for loan, featuring the best literature in a wide variety of genres along with an outstanding collection of award-winning Children’s and Young Adult titles.

With your Library card, countless titles are available for FREE download to your device, to borrow for your reading or listening pleasure.

(Additional eBooks and audioBooks are available for loan through a service called Library2Go.  Check there for more choices.)

How do I create an Account?

Our recommendation is to create an account on your first visit to the OneClickdigital website. Select the “Register” link in the upper right-hand side of the screen. Fill in the account verification information, including your Library card number. Passwords must be at least 4 characters long and can contain both numbers and letters. Passwords are case sensitive, usernames are not.

Do I need a library card number to checkout a title?

Yes, you need to be a Vanderhoof Public Library patron to establish an account. Contact your Library if you do not have a Library account, or do not know what your number is.

How many titles can I check out at one time and for how long?

  • Maximum checkouts – 12 titles.
  • Maximum checkout period = 21 days (you can choose a shorter period if you wish)
  • A total of 3 renewals allowed (7 days each)
  • Maximum holds = 10

How do I put a title on Hold?

To place a title on hold, go to the title detail page and click the “Hold” button. A success message will be displayed along with your place in line. For your convenience, OneClickdigital will automatically checkout the title to your account. An email stating the title is available for download will be sent to the email address you have on file. When you receive the email you can look in your “My Titles/Checked Out” items to download your selection.

How do I remove a title from my Hold list?

Titles can be cancelled from a hold on the “My Titles/Holds” list. Simply click on the “X” button found above the title image.

Sometimes I see only a hold button…

A title will display the Hold button when another patron has the title checked out. The Hold button may also be displayed if you have reached your maximum number of checkouts allowed. In rare instances, if you library allows you to see titles that are not owned, the Hold button will also be displayed.

What is a Wishlist and how does it work?

The Wishlist is a tool that allows you to keep track of titles that you may want to listen to or reference at a later date.  To add titles to the Wishlist click the “Add to Wishlist” button on the title details page.

When will my title expire?

Titles will expire from the checkout list on their due date at the exact time they were checked out. For example if a title was checked out at 2:00 pm for 7 days it will expire on the 7th day at 2:00 pm.

Can I renew a title?

Yes, you can renew a a title for 7 days, for total of 3 times.

  • Click on Browse
  • Click on My Titles
  • Click on the date shown under the name of the title you wish to renew.

Please keep in mind that the renew time will not be added to the checkout time. We recommend renewing the title the day before the title expires to ensure that you are given extra time to listen to or read the title.

Are titles from OneClickdigital kept on my computer?

Titles will be removed from your computer when the title reaches expiration or is returned by the patron.

How many computers and/or devices can I use with my OneClickdigital content?

OneClickdigital can be used on as many computers as you would like, but titles downloaded to specific computers stay on that PC. A title can be downloaded multiple times but only transferred to two different devices.
