Updated March 18, 2020
Based on the recommendation of public health officials—and out of concern for the public, our patrons, and staff—the library will be closed indefinitely as of Wednesday, March 18.
You can call in your requests for books and our staff will make it available for you to pick up a bag at the door of the Library.
You can also go online to request the items through your account. (Call us if you need a password for your account.)
If you prefer a surprise bag of library material, we can accommodate that as well!
We will continue to offer our home library services to any of our “shut-in” patrons within town limits (we can keep a ‘safe’ distance by dropping books at your doorstep). For people of all ages! Call us at 250-567-4060 or 250-567-0193.
Our book drop remains open, so we encourage you to use it to return your books when done.
Fines are waived at this time, and we can make loans longer than 3 weeks if requested.
As you know, this is a constantly evolving situation and we are committed to keeping you up to date as things change and evolve.
Thank you for your support and patience during this difficult time. Now is a critical time to work together to ensure the well-being of our communities, and slow the spread of COVID -19.
