Due to the everchanging Covid circumstances we have had to cancel our regularly scheduled programming; however, there is a still a way to do programming with Sara.

You can call or email her and book your bubble of people to do whatever programming you want to do.

Imagination Station

Check our Facebook page daily for upcoming sessions and dates.

Come to the library to use your imagination to make fun creations.

Virtual Boys Book Club FULL

Ages 8-10 at 3:45 – 5:00 pm 

Dates: February 11, March 11, April 8, & May 6.

This group is currently full but another session will be coming.

 


Virtual Girls Book Club FULL

 Ages 8-10 at 3:45 – 5:00 pm 

Dates: February 24, March 24, April 21, & May 19.

Group A Dates: February 18, March 18, April 15, & May 13.

Rhymes and Rhythms ~ 0-5 ON HOLD

Tuesdays & Thursdays 10:30 am

Early steps towards literacy and love of books! Fun for little ones and their caregivers too.

Beyond the Book Adventure Club

Get ready to join your friends in a goofy, creative, imaginative, rewarding way to pass the summer. The more challenges you submit, the greater chance of winning, while having a lot of fun along the way!
(Please read the instructions below.)

The Beyond the Book Adventure Club 2020 runs from July 1 to noon August 7 !  Register now to reserve your spot!

Registration required in order to participate:

To register, email Sara at  Sara@vanderhooflibrary.com or come in to the Library.  Questions?  call Sara at the Library, 250-567-4060.


How to Submit Entries:

Be sure to tell us the Challenge number to identify which one you are submitting.
You have 3 choices for submitting your entries:

  1. – Follow our Facebook page and send your entries there: Vanderhoof Public Library
  2. – By email to Sara at  Sara@vanderhooflibrary.com. or
  3. – In person at the Library, 230 Stewart Street East, Vanderhoof.

How it Works:

  • The Challenge runs from July 1 to noon August 7.  Please register in person at the Library, or via emailsara@vanderhooflibrary.com
  • Complete challenges and earn entries for the draw.
  • On Friday afternoons one name will be drawn from that week’s entries to win a prize.
  • Each week your challenges will also be entered for the Grand Prizes, to be drawn August 7.

The Rules:

  • You must be between the ages of 9 and 12 (inclusive) during the dates of the Challenge.
  • Every email that is sent must include the challenge number and the person’s name.
  • Each challenge can be completed only once.
  • Prizes must be picked up at the Vanderhoof Public Library.  Prizes not claimed by September 30 will be forfeited.
  • The Challenge begins July 1.
  • All entries must be received by noon August 7.  (The Grand Prizes draw will be made later that day.)
