Join the CANADA READS hype!
Gather with your friends to discover this year’s winner, streamed on the big screen–in the Jane Gray Multi-purpose Room at the Library.
Panel Debates – March 25 to 28, 2:00 pm daily. (Join us whatever dates you can.)
The Library has copies of the 5 short-listed books for you to borrow. (You may have to read fast and share!)

Haven’t had the opportunity to visit that place you’ve always dreamed of seeing? Why not travel vicariously here at the Library, as local adventurers share their experiences—via travel photos and dialogue.
Drop in at the Library from 7:00 to 8:00 pm on the day of your choice, for some very interesting presentations by local travellers. Open to the public of all ages.

This is our tasty new “Cookbook Club”.
Each month the group choose a cookbook, and you pick a recipe to prepare in your own kitchen.
You are also welcome to use a favourite recipe of your own.
Bring your creation to the club to share at a potluck dinner.
We will also share cooking tips and tricks.
We will meet from 12 noon to 1:30 pm for our potluck on the following dates:
March 28, April 25, May 23.
We will provide the plates & cutlery.
This month’s cookbook is available at the Library for you to check out.

Brown Bag Book Club
Book clubs offer an excellent opportunity to grow as a reader. Participants bring different insights and life experiences to their interpretation of a book, which makes for great debate and lots of fun.”
Do You Enjoy Reading, Talking about books? Meeting people? Then the Library book club is for you!
We meet the 3rd Thursday of each month, September through May,
from noon to 1:30 pm.
You may join at any time during the season; simply call or stop by the library!
The Library will provide copies of the books being read.
You are free to bring your lunch.
Wednesdays from Fall through Spring, Noon to 3:00 pm
You are welcome to bring your lunch.
Bring your craft or stitching project and join with others who are working on theirs!
