NNELS is the National Network for Equitable Library Service — providing digital talking books for people with print disabilities. A print disability prevents or inhibits a person from reading conventional print. Contact your Library for a PIN number so you can access this service. |

DAISY (Digital Accessible Information System) is a technical standard for digital audio books, periodicals and computerized text. DAISY is designed to be a complete audio substitute for print material. The DAISY reader is used to play the DAISY digital audio books etc., and is available for loan. |

You can find articles from journals, magazines, newspapers, and encyclopedias by logging into one of the Library’s databases. View a full list of our databases or recommended databases & websites by subject. |

In addition to our local Library, we have access to several online collections where you can borrow or access thousands of materials.

Find and reserve books, movies, music, magazines that are available at the Vanderhoof Public Library. Click here to search the catalogue. If you are not able to find the item you wanted in our collection, we can likely get it for you from another Library. On the Search Catalogue page, change the Library drop-down to search in the BC Interlibrary Connect (at the very top of the list of Libraries). Put a hold on the book and it will be transferred for pick up at Vanderhoof. By logging in to your account, you can renew it yourself if necessary. |
